Mexico City
  Mexico City by Ridley Howard

Well Hello there!

You may be shocked to know that I have another art exhibition review coming down the tubes. This time it’s Ridley Howard’s new exhibit at Leo Koenig Gallery. Ridley Howard’s paintings first revealed themselves to me at the now-legendary Conceptual Figures show last year.

Ridley Howard paints enigmatic and pristinely executed portraits. Other words to describe his work are mysterious! mundane! romantic? concealment! smooth! His portrayals of people doing stuff or spacily not doing stuff are becoming more holistic in unique style and vision.

A link to this article is available in the Articles section.

If you haven’t been to this site in a bit, I urge you to read my recent interview with Anders Oinonen on Whitehot Magazine. His vibrant paintings link the details of physical construction with the temperatures of inner feeling.
